About

Emily Hayward founded The Confident Canine in 2020 opening her first location in West Palm Beach, Florida. Emily has been a lifelong dog lover and certified dog trainer since 2007. Her passion for dogs and entrepreneurial spirit led her to create The Confident Canine.

Emily grew up in Boston but moved down to South Florida during 2020. When the opportunity arose to open a boutique boarding and training facility in West Palm Beach, Emily did not hesitate! Opening and leading The Confident Canine has been an unforgettable experience that has brought her so much joy!

Emily founded and established operations for The Confident Canine during July of 2020.

Bootcamp Program

Our Bootcamp is a customized boarding and training program designed to meet the needs of each individual dog. This multi week course at our state of the art facility covers basic manners and obedience to more in depth behavior modification. After graduating from Bootcamp your dog will be an official Confident Canine Pack Member and will receive 25% off all future boarding needs.
